The short version

Vitality Massage Therapy has joined the Beyond Med provider network. If you carry a Beyond Med membership — many people have one through an employer's benefits package — that membership now works here: it takes 20% off the total of any booking with us, on every appointment, and using it takes about ten seconds on the booking form.

Our flat rates are the same as they were yesterday, there are no tiers and no fine print, and we've written before about what mobile massage costs here precisely because we like pricing that needs no decoder ring. This partnership honors a wellness benefit some of our clients were already paying for through their membership and, until now, couldn't use with us. If a benefit you carry can save you money on care you were getting anyway, we'd rather honor it than not.

What Beyond Med is, in their own words

Beyond Med describes itself as "modern care at insider prices." From their member benefits overview: "The Beyond Med Discount Plan provides members with access to reduced rates on a variety of healthcare services through our network of participating providers. Members must show their discount card or provide their membership details at the time of service to receive discounted pricing."

Their network spans health and wellness categories — massage therapy, acupuncture, chiropractic care, physical therapy, mental wellness, med spa services, and more — with reduced rates that average 20% at participating providers. Members can browse the full network at beyondmedplans.com.

One thing Beyond Med is clear about, and we want to be equally clear about: it is not insurance. In their words, "Beyond Med Plans Inc. is a licensed Discount Plan Organization" — members pay providers directly and receive a contracted discount at the time of service. There are no claims to file and no reimbursements to chase. You pay us the discounted total the same way any client does; the membership is what earns the lower price.

How to use your membership when you book

The whole flow lives on our regular booking page:

1. Build your booking the way anyone does — pick your session length, any add-ons, and your date and time.
2. Near the bottom of the form, answer "Yes" to "Are you a Beyond Med member?"
3. Enter the member ID from your Beyond Med card and the discount code from your membership materials. Both come from Beyond Med — if you can't find them, the member portal at beyondmedplans.com has your card, and their concierge team can help.

Once both check out, the 20% comes off your estimated total right on the form, so the number you see before you confirm is the number you pay. Your therapist sees the membership on the appointment and verifies eligibility with Beyond Med — no card-swiping ceremony at the door, no awkward checkout conversation in your living room.

What the discount covers

Everything on the booking. The session ($135, $175, or $215 for 60, 90, or 120 minutes), add-ons like cupping or CBD lotion, and the travel fee where one applies. Worked example: a 90-minute deep tissue session in North Park totals $195, and a member's benefit brings it to $156 — the math shows up right on the booking form before you confirm. Couples bookings qualify too, and for group events — which we always quote personally — the discount comes off the quote.

Two honest footnotes. First, per Beyond Med's own policy, the membership discount can't be combined with other offers — and since our standard pricing is our only pricing, this changes nothing in practice. Second, the discount belongs to the member — you'll enter your own member ID each time you book, and eligibility is verified with Beyond Med for each appointment.

Why we joined

Mobile massage earns its keep on consistency — the clients who benefit most are the ones who make it a rhythm rather than a rescue. A lot of Beyond Med members carry the plan because it came with a job or a household benefits decision, and then never use it for anything they actually enjoy. If a membership you're already paying for can make a monthly session easier to justify, that benefit finally earned its keep — and we'd rather be the place where it does.
