Yes — the table comes to your room

If you are visiting San Diego, you can have a professional massage in your hotel room or vacation rental without arranging anything through a front desk. We bring the table, linens, lotion, and music to you anywhere in San Diego County, seven days a week from 7am to 10pm, and the whole thing is booked online in a couple of minutes.

Most of our visitor clients find us mid-trip, usually the morning after a travel day or a long first day at the Zoo with kids on shoulders. Here is exactly how it works, because the logistics questions are always the same.

How a hotel session actually goes

  1. You book online. Pick a time with live availability at /book, enter the hotel name and room number in the notes, and pay. No phone call exists in this process — the practice runs entirely online.
  2. The therapist confirms. Every request is reviewed and confirmed personally, so a real person has seen your booking. If anything about the timing or location needs a word, it happens here.
  3. Arrival. Your therapist arrives at your room at the appointed time, in professional dress with a table over one shoulder. Nothing needs to be cleared with the front desk; hotel guests receive visitors all the time.
  4. Setup takes about ten minutes. A standard room works once a luggage rack or chair slides aside — we need roughly 7 by 9 feet of clear floor. You are face-down and the room is quiet by minute twelve.
  5. The session runs its full length. Sixty, ninety, or 120 minutes of actual hands-on time; setup and breakdown are never carved out of your session.
  6. Breakdown and done. Ten minutes later the room is back to normal and you are horizontal on an actual bed — which is the whole advantage over visiting a spa in a bathrobe and then having to drive somewhere.

First-timers who want the fuller picture of etiquette and draping can read the what to expect guide; everything in it applies to hotel sessions.

Vacation rentals are even easier

Airbnbs and vacation rentals in Mission Beach, Ocean Beach, and Del Mar make up a large share of our visitor bookings, and honestly they are the ideal venue: more floor space, a living room instead of a bedroom, and no elevator ride for anyone. Beach houses shared by families or friend groups often book back-to-back sessions — two hours of the afternoon, four people worked on, nobody leaves the house.

Couples on vacation are the other big category. Two tables side by side in a rental living room at sunset is about as good as a couples massage setting gets, and it costs no more than the same session would at home in San Diego.

One courtesy note: the booking should come from a guest staying at the property. We work in your rented space at your invitation, same as at a home.

Where visitors stay, and what travel costs

The session price is identical everywhere — the only variable is the travel fee, which is $20 within the city of San Diego and $40 elsewhere in the county, shown in your total before you confirm. In practice that maps onto visitor geography like this: downtown and Gaslamp hotels, Mission Valley, Mission Beach, Pacific Beach, and La Jolla are all city-of-San-Diego rates. Coronado, Del Mar, Encinitas, and Carlsbad are county rates. And if your rental happens to be in Point Loma or Ocean Beach — our home neighborhoods — travel is free. The full map lives on the service areas page.

Business travelers and convention weeks

Not every visitor is here on vacation. San Diego runs a heavy convention calendar, and an in-room session at the end of a conference day — after eight hours of standing at a booth or sitting through sessions in bad chairs — is one of the most direct uses of this service. Downtown and Gaslamp hotels sit squarely in the $20 city travel zone, evening slots run until 10pm, and the online booking works from a phone between meetings. Teams sometimes coordinate several back-to-back sessions in one suite; the notes field on the booking handles that fine.

Fitting it into a trip

Three timing patterns work well. Arrival-evening sessions help flight stiffness settle before the vacation starts, and our 10pm final slot accommodates late check-ins. Mid-trip sessions land best the morning after the most ambitious day — the Torrey Pines hike, the theme park marathon. And last-full-day sessions send you home loose instead of departing more tired than you arrived. Summer weekends and convention weeks book up earliest, so visitors traveling during those windows should reserve a few days ahead.
